APPLICATION TO WOOD SUBSTRATE Install to structurally sound wood substrate. Apply weather-resistant barrier (15 lb. tar paper or felt). Attach metal lath or #17 gauge, 1 1/2" woven wire stucco netting. Apply a scratch coat of Type-S Mortar (or equivalent) Apply a 1/2" thick Type-S (or equivalent) mortar setting bed to the back of each Cast-N-Stone and press the stone into place over a moistened scratch coat. Brush, tool or rake the Type-S (or equivalent) mortar joint. APPLICATION TO MASONRY On a clean surface, the veneer may be applied directly to a masonry backing, without mesh. Painted or waterproofed, masonry surfaces should be cleaned and sandblasted or attach metal lath or 17 gauge 1 1/2" stucco netting with a 1/2" scratch coat of plaster to provide a good bonding surface. Apply Type-S (or equivalent) cement mortar at least 1/2" thick to the back of each stone veneer and press the stone into place over moistened masonry units. Brush, tool or rake the Type-S (or equivalent) mortar joint.

The following tests have been conducted per the referenced test criteria or specifications. Cast-N-Stone meets or exceeds UBC and ASTM acceptance criteria for precast stone veneer. Check with your local building department for local code requirements.   PACKAGING 100 square foot flats, 100 linear feet of corners per pallet. (Fieldstone corners, 80 linear foot per pallet). If product is to be drystacked, please add 10% to order.   MAINTENANCE Wash with clean water when needed. Do not use acids, high-pressure water or hard abrasives. CAST-N-STONE VENEER WARRANTY 50-year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty New Cast-N-Stone veneer will be provided, free of charge, for replacement of Cast-N-Stone veneer that is determined to be defective. This warranty covers Cast-N-Stone veneer only, and does not include labor or replacement costs. Cast-N-Stone is not warranted against damage or staining caused by chemicals, airborne or waterborne contaminants, oxidation, settlement or movement of the substrate surface over which it is applied. This warranty is limited to original purchaser only.   PLEASE NOTE Cast-N-Stone products are handmade. Color and thickness may vary. It is recommended that you purchase all of the stone for your project at the same time. For projects requiring multiple pallets, it is the responsibility of the installer to mix stone from each pallet on the job site. Use constitutes acceptance.
